Course modules

01Define a realistic service offer

Identify a service you can demonstrate and describe the intended client need. Set clear deliverables and limits without claiming experience you do not have.

02Build a truthful sample portfolio

Create or organise practice work that shows your process and results. Label sample projects honestly and use only material you are authorised to share.

03Read briefs and ask useful questions

Review fictional client requests and identify missing requirements. Prepare clarification questions before estimating effort or promising delivery.

04Prepare clear proposals and scope

Draft a proposal covering deliverables, assumptions, milestones and revision boundaries. Check any AI-assisted wording for invented qualifications or unrealistic claims.

05Track work and communicate progress

Organise tasks and updates for a sample project with realistic deadlines. Practise handling changing requests through clear records and agreed next steps.

06Review and hand over a project

Apply a quality checklist and prepare a concise handover pack. Record outstanding questions and build a realistic plan for improving your service portfolio.
