Maintenance Planning & Equipment Logs
Course modules
01Build a sample equipment register
Organise fictional equipment identifiers, locations and reference documents. Record missing information and distinguish asset records from technical condition assessments.
02Define task sources and responsibilities
Map sample tasks to instructor-provided instructions and review responsibilities. Avoid inventing maintenance intervals or procedures for real equipment.
03Prepare a maintenance schedule
Arrange authorised sample tasks by due date, owner and resource needs. Flag conflicts and dependencies for review rather than changing safety-critical priorities independently.
04Record work and exceptions
Build sample logs for planned work, completion evidence and outstanding issues. Separate reported observations from conclusions requiring a qualified technician.
05Summarise records with checked AI support
Use fictional logs to prepare administrative summaries and identify missing fields. Verify AI suggestions against the source records and exclude repair instructions or safety decisions.
06Review and hand over the plan
Create a checklist for record quality, revisions and unresolved tasks. Present a planning pack with clear escalation routes and approval responsibilities.
Curriculum, duration and tuition are indicative and subject to confirmation. Use fictional or appropriately authorised teaching examples; do not bring confidential equipment records. Planning and documentation training only, not professional accreditation or authorisation for repairs, inspection sign-off, isolation procedures or safety-critical work. Real equipment tasks require appropriately qualified personnel, manufacturer instructions and applicable workplace requirements. Software costs will be confirmed before enrolment. No employment or equipment-performance guarantee. An enquiry does not confirm a place.
